Information on admission for the academic year 2026/2027

Registration fee: 50 EUR
ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS:
Final entrance procedure (e.g. entrance examinations/online interviews) will take place between 30 March and 10 April 2026.
Recognition of Education Obtained Abroad
Besides other documents all applicants are required to submit a proof of recognition of their previous education. There are two ways how to do it:
- “Big” general diploma recognition (“Nostrification”) – outcome of which could be used on many other occasions (for the future employer, for further studies at another Czech university etc.). It could be processed any time, with no limit validation.

- For follow-up master and doctoral degree programmes: see here.
- Assessment of foreign secondary school/university education within the admission procedure to Palacký University – valid only for this year admission procedure and PU. Arranged after the entrance procedure, if the candidate is successful at the entrance procedure and thus they are proposed for admission.
Specification of legalization of documents
Important Notice:
We kindly ask applicants to consider whether they will be able to submit a certified copy of their previous education by 31 May 2026 at the latest.
If not, please note that they will not be able to enrol in the programme, even if they successfully pass the entrance examination, due to the administration procedure required.
Tuition fees
Bachelor’s degree programmes: 2000 EUR per academic year
Master’s degree programmes: 2000 EUR per academic year
Doctoral degree programmes: 250 EUR per academic year
in accordance with section 58 paragraph 5 of Act No. 111/1998 (amended and consolidated) on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Some Other Acts (The Higher Education Act) (hereinafter stated as „Act No. 111/1998“) and Article 22 paragraph 9 and Article 23 paragraph 4 of the Constitution of UP all students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree programmes carried out in a foreign language are obliged to pay a tuition fee.
Scholarship
Unfortunately, we do not assign any scholarship before candidates are enrolled in a study programme and arrive in the Czech Republic. Only then, i.e. during their actual presence at the Faculty of Education, students can apply for the „local study grant“ – see Article 8 of the Grant Code of the Faculty of Education. This grant is meant to help students with their living expenses in Olomouc, grant amount depends on student´s study results and other study/work activities.
