e-Pedagogium

The e-Pedagogium journal is an independent peer-reviewed academic journal for interdisciplinary research in education, special education, and subject-specific didactics. Its content presents theoretical and survey studies, research reports, and academic works. The board of editors welcomes all manuscripts falling under the listed areas of interest. The journal is published four times a year in an electronic version on the website of Palacký University Olomouc, with two issues in Czech and two issues in English. Its print version is published and provided by the Palacký University Publishing House.

The peer-reviewed journal e-Pedagogium has been published by the Faculty of Education of Palacký University in Olomouc since 2001. It is a quarterly focusing on interdisciplinary research in educational sciences, published twice in Czech/Slovak and twice in English.

The journal focuses mainly on school and social education, the theory and philosophy of education, special education, pedagogical psychology, and subject-specific didactics. It publishes original works by both Czech and foreign authors – theoretical papers, reviews, methodological and empirical studies, and reviews of academic publications, as well as short academic statements.

Besides ensuring the required quality of published texts, the task of the journal’s editorial board is also to create a platform for academic discussion and sharing of knowledge in the field of pedagogical research for academics, namely with interdisciplinary outreach to the area of social and natural sciences.

The journal is listed in the List of Non-impact Peer-Reviewed Journals Published in the Czech Republic approved by the Research and Development Council of the Czech Republic and registered and categorised in the Index Copernicus™, WorldCat®, ERIH PLUS, and EBSCOhost databases.
