In June 2027, the Faculty of Education will host the 20th anniversary edition of the International Conference on Education and Innovation (CIEI 2027), one of the leading international events focusing on education and educational innovation. The upcoming edition, entitled “Connecting Minds for the Future of Education,” will take place from 21 to 23 June 2027 at the Faculty of Education building at Žižkovo náměstí 5.
The conference is organized by the scientific research group AREA at the University of Granada, with which Professor Kamil Kopecký has maintained a long-standing and intensive collaboration. Thanks to this partnership, the conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Education at Palacký University Olomouc.
“Together with colleagues from the AREA group, we collaborate on a wide range of research topics, including the use of modern digital technologies in education, such as 3D printing, programmable robotic devices, and virtual reality. We also work extensively on issues related to online safety and the prevention of risky behaviour, for example in the area of sharenting. In recent years, we have also focused on topics related to artificial intelligence. Our colleagues are, for instance, working with us on the prestigious research project HumanAId – Human-Centered AI for a Sustainable and Adaptive Society,” says Kamil Kopecký, describing the collaboration.
The conference is intended for academics, researchers, doctoral students, and professionals working in the field of education. As always, it will provide a space for sharing research findings, innovative approaches, and practical experience.
Members of Palacký University Olomouc are warmly invited to participate actively in the conference. Proposals for symposia can be submitted until 15 February 2027, while contributions to the Communication section can be submitted until 10 May 2027.
