SIGMUND FREUD IN OLOMOUC IN 1886 (JIŘÍ FIALA, KAMILA HOLÁSKOVÁ, HELENA VELIČKOVÁ)

The book presents an unknown chapter from the life of the famous neurologist, psychologist and the founder of psychoanalysis, who in 1886 underwent as a chief military doctor in reserve one month "exercise " at the staff of the Army Corps No. 15 in Olomouc. How he spent time on these maneuvers we have learned from his letters to his friend Josef Breuer and to his future sister-in-law Minna Bernays, whose sister he married immediately after his release. These letters in German original and Czech translation are published here.

OVERVIEW OF MENTAL DEVELOPMENT DISORDERS (MICHAELA PUGNEROVÁ, JANA KVINTOVÁ)

The current primary school teacher encounters not only "normality", but naturally also deals with "abnormality". If the teacher is supposed to be familiar with interpersonal relationships, to understand children and their parents, then he/she should gain insight into broader contexts, be able to communicate not only within the framework of psychological normality, but also be able to behave properly in the case of perceived pathology. Educators solve various types of learning difficulties that may occur within so-called integration. Due to integration educators work  with pupils who have learning difficulties for a variety of reasons. This publication should be a valuable help in such situations.

As the authors themselves state, their goal was not to present an exhaustive description of the full range of mental difficulties, but rather to provide (either to future or current teachers) a basic orientation in the selected psychological topics. They focused on topics and issues that seemed to be the most frequent in the helping professions, especially in the profession of a teacher working at all types and levels of education. They combine theoretical background and existing knowledge on selected topics with research on specific cases. The aim was to inform the readers about topics which knowledge helps teachers to gain better understanding of the child's issues, and thus help to improve their educational activities and orientation in the issue.

SELECTED ASPECTS OF FINANCIAL LITERACY (ALENA OPLETALOVÁ, JANA KVINTOVÁ)

At the same time, this publication presents the original results of the research focused on the current concept and implementation of financial literacy teaching at primary and secondary schools.

PERCEPTION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION TEACHERS SELF – EFFICIENCY (RADKA DOFKOVÁ, JANA KVINTOVÁ)

The publication entitled Perceptions of Primary School Teachers' Self-efficiency: a Qualitative Analysis of Mathematical and Didactic Readiness in Undergraduate Training is based on the assumption that positive beliefs of undergraduate primary school mathematics teachers of the quality of their vocational and didactic training can guarantee effective performance in their future profession. Creating a positive attitude towards mathematics and teaching it to future mathematics teachers is based on a deep understanding of the past and present aspects that were contributing to the formation of this attitude in the past. The monograph is therefore an attempt to cover this aspect in the most possible detailed way for the teacher 's training, which is not elaborated in detail in our country. The publication is introduced by a reminder of the psychological basis of the monograph - the definition of self-efficacy, its terminological specification and the relationship to other concepts such as subjective degree of responsibility for the student achievement (teacher responsibility for student achievement) or localization of the decisive influence (e.g. locus of control). ). This part is supplemented by an example of specific instruments that are used to measure the issues in quantitative research. The second chapter characterizes the didactic-psychological basis of the book, such as the specific competencies of the primary school teacher, the requirements for his/her knowledge (mathematical knowledge, didactic knowledge of content or curricular knowledge). The main part of the work is a qualitative research, which results were summarized in the third chapter. The chapter deals with identifying the strengths and weaknesses of professional and didactic readiness of the future mathematics teachers. 83 statements of students (in the QDA Miner program) were processed in the form of coding. The analysis of individual codes in terms of frequency and interrelationships was performed using a dendrogram, heatmap and a concept map. The results are summarized in detail in each area and at the end of this chapter. The last chapter presents possible stimulus for didactic seminars of primary mathematics education based on research. Emphasis is placed on the use of appropriately selected methodological procedures.
