Trends in education
The conference entitled “Trends in education” focuses on general issues related to the teacher personality and didactics (didactics of technical education, information science, chemistry, visual arts, physics, music, natural science, geography, mathematics, foreign languages, etc.) in order to create an interdisciplinary space for presenting educational problems, research results, and ideas for innovation in educational theory and practice. The themes of the sections correspond with the subject-specific didactic focus of the conference. Emphasis is on networking and development of interdisciplinary research teams. The conference is primarily intended not only for experienced employees involved in educational research but also beginning researchers (Ph.D. students). Participants from educational practice are also welcome.
The non-traditional conference entitled “Tech-Edu-Inspire” is intended for the wide professional as well as general public and focuses on presenting innovative approaches to technical education in elementary schools and on addressing general curricular issues associated with introducing the new concept of technical education in schools. Its purpose is to create an interdisciplinary space for presenting educational problems, research results, and ideas for innovation in educational theory and practice.
Academic staff, researchers, qualified and unqualified teachers of technical education, school directors and teacher training students are warmly welcome. Selected workshops are intended for elementary school students.
Part of the conference is a series of practical workshops for teachers and professional public. These workshops are aimed at selected areas of technical education in elementary schools.
Attendees without a lecture, i.e. those who want to learn new information, are also welcome.
